Established in 1976, Hadley Preschool Nursery is one of the longest, established and well known nurseries in the area.

Located in the busy central Rosemount area of Aberdeen, we have been providing a quality service for more than 30 years.

We pride ourselves on our unique blend of experience in childcare and friendly homeliness. We offer specially designated rooms and facilities for babies (up to 18 months), toddlers  (18 months to 3 years) and 3 to 5 year olds. Dividing the children into approximate age groups allows for more targeted curriculum and focused support.

Service aims:

• Provide a safe, clean and stimulating environment, in which children feel happy and secure
• Provide a happy and supportive environment for all staff
• Encourage all children to be successful learners, confident individuals, effective contributors and responsible citizens
• To work in accordance with the pre-birth to three and curriculum for excellent guidelines
• Encourage positive attitudes to self and others and develop confidence and self-esteem
• Create opportunities for play
• Encourage children to explore, appreciate and respect their environment
• Provide opportunities to stimulate interest and imagination
• Provide opportunities for multicultural learning and play
• Provide staff development to gain more experience and provide the best care for the children
• Communicate effectively with children at all times
• Communicate effectively with parents and other professionals to share the children's progress/development clearly
• To work in partnership with all parents to develop their child's learning
• Make positive links with families and wider communities
• Provide a healthy menu, which will encourage the children to eat healthy. We feel this is important in aiding physical development of young children
• To provide children with at least 60 minutes of physical activity
• To maintain continuous self-improvement through self-evaluation and development planning
